Are You Eligible?

Currently landowners who have planted trees on former agricultural lands may be eligible for carbon credits. Other practices may be eligible in the future.

To qualify the plantings need to be:

• Moving open lands, that were formerly agricultural, into trees
• Have a minimum of 250 trees per acre surviving
• Be in lands committed to remaining as forest (some cutting is allowed)

If you have CRP (Conservation Reserve Program) plantings, or other funding from the government you have much of the paperwork already ready.

To keep costs low, and allow us to work with smaller landowners, we ask that you fill out a short set of questions so we can tell you if you are eligible.
